Looking at Online STD Test

Doctors’ organizations and many regular laboratories have expressed concern about the sudden rise in the number of new online laboratories and their growing popularity especially among teenagers and young adults. They argue that there is a still a need to determine the identity of the individual to be tested. In reality, the identity of the patient should not be a major concern of the doctor or the laboratory. Laboratories deal with samples and testing procedures. The arrival of online laboratories offering Online STD tests is due to the demand from the public at large for testing procedures which are not too strict when it comes to identification requirements. One wants to know whether he is sick or not without anyone knowing that he decided to get tested or that he wants to be tested. However, this sense of personal privacy is not present in the regular laboratories because the receptionist immediately insists that the patient shows some identification prior to blood extraction.

Celebrities choose online STD tests because then paparazzi could not penetrate the online laboratories. If he fears that that revealing his identity might tempt the employees of the online lab, he is not required to say something about his identity and he can opt to be marked as a number. Well, he may use his credit card but that doesn’t mean however that he is the patient and the employees will simply make a guest and assumptions. Politicians, international diplomats, national public figures, top book writers, and the like go to online laboratories because the labs don’t require them to show any competent proof of identity.
